What you'll do: turn on the standard supporting pages your book needs — a dedication, foreword, acknowledgements, about-the-author, and more.
These are managed on the Matter step. See What is front matter & back matter? for the idea.

Turn a section on
- Go to the Matter step.
- Find the section in the Front matter or Back matter list — for example Dedication or Acknowledgements.
- Click its toggle to turn it on.
Add the content
Click to expand the section. Most sections give you a rich-text editor where you can type and format the content — for example your dedication text or a foreword. A few simple sections (like an epigraph) use a plain text box with an optional attribution line.
Common sections
- Front: Title page, Copyright, Dedication, Epigraph, Foreword, Preface, Table of Contents.
- Back: Acknowledgements, About the Author, Also By, Index.
Don't see the one you want? You can add a custom section. To change the order, or move a section between front and back, see Reorder sections.
