BookbndrWhat you'll do: sign in to your Bookbndr account the first time you export, so Bookbndr can confirm your lifetime access.
Everything else in Bookbndr is free and needs no account: scanning your manuscript, choosing a theme, organizing chapters, adding front and back matter, and previewing on devices. Only generating an EPUB or print file requires lifetime access, a one-time purchase with no subscription.
When you see the sign-in prompt
- On the Export step, choose Generate EPUB or Generate PDF.
- If you are not signed in, a Premium panel opens. Choose Already a member? Sign in.
- A Bookbndr window opens. Enter your email address. We send a 6-digit code to that address; there is no password, and no separate sign-up for new accounts.
- Enter the code in the same window. It confirms you are signed in and closes on its own.
- Choose Generate again. Your export starts right away.
You stay signed in on this computer, so the next export does not ask again.
If you don't have lifetime access yet
The Premium panel offers Get Premium. Choosing it opens the checkout in your browser, and you do not need an account to buy. At checkout, enter the email address you will sign in with. After paying, return to Word and choose Already a member? Sign in with that same email: signing in activates your license. There is no license key to enter.
Have a gift code? Choose Have a gift code? in the Premium panel, or go to bookbndr.com/redeem. Redeem it with the same email address, then return to Word and choose Already a member? Sign in.
Privacy
Signing in only confirms your license. Your manuscript is formatted and exported on your own computer and is never uploaded to our servers.
Signing out
The bottom of the Export screen shows Signed in as your email address with a Sign out link whenever you are signed in. Sign out before exporting with a different account, for example on a shared computer. Signing out only forgets the sign-in on this computer; the next export asks you to sign in again.
Something not working?
- "We could not check your license" — you are offline, or bookbndr.com could not be reached. Reconnect and choose Generate again. Your work is still here.
- The sign-in window shows "Open this page from Word" — open it from the Export step in Word rather than from a browser bookmark.
- The code never arrives — check your spam folder, then choose Send a new code. Each code works for 10 minutes.
